Founded in 1865, Konomi Honke Konomien is the godfather of “Yamecha” and produces high-quality Yamecha as the oldest tea wholesaler in Yame.

In 1924, founder Kuniteru Kadokura founded Japan's first full-fledged French confectionery shop in Omori. At the time of its founding, it was designated as a purveyor to the Imperial Household Agency, and has continued to deliver to the Imperial Household Agency to this day.
