Yakuzen basics

Yakuzen is a meal that selects and combines ingredients according to the constitution, physical condition, and season based on the wisdom of Chinese medicine (preventive medicine and balance medicine). Yakuzen, which has been handed down at home, does not use crude drugs and is made with seasonal ingredients that can be obtained at supermarkets.

The basic idea is the five seasons and five colors. The five seasons are spring, summer, autumn and winter plus the midseason. Green for spring, red for summer, yellow for midsummer, white for autumn, and black for winter. The color-coding of ingredients that you want to eat in each season is originally derived from the five colors of the ancient Chinese way of thinking.
