“Sencha with Matcha” is the first product created by Senchaso. It is a long-selling product that has been sold for about 70 years.

Sencha-sou, a pioneer of sencha with matcha, has a tea master called “blender gogumi-shi” who discerns the individuality of each tea leaf and blends them in an exquisite combination.

POINT 2: Matcha uses 100% Uji matcha!

We use tea leaves carefully grown by the same producer in the same tea plantation every year.

POINT 3: Carefully ground with a traditional millstone.

This matcha is made using the same traditional method as the grade of matcha used in tea ceremonies.

Pioneer of sencha with matcha

In the early Showa period, Ginzo Naruse, the first manager of Sencha-sou, mistakenly put sencha in a matcha box when he was peddling. When I hurriedly opened it, I found that the tea in the box had been nicely blended on the ups and downs of the mountain road, and the sencha tea leaves were beautifully coated with matcha. It was a waste, so when I drank it, the light blue color was the beautiful green of matcha, and it emitted a rich aroma.

How to make delicious tea

• Put 8g of tea leaves (for 5 customers) and about 180cc of hot water (about 70 degrees) into a teapot.
• Let it sit for about 30 seconds, then pour it evenly into the cup.

※Please pour the last drop so that hot water does not remain in the teapot.
