Delicious way to brew organic gyokuro

It's a high-end gyokuro, so you want to enjoy it by brewing it deliciously.

First of all, when brewing gyokuro, in order not to spoil the sweetness of the tea, boil the well-boiled water until it reaches 40 to 50 degrees Celsius (just enough so that the palm of your hand does not feel hot through the bowl) before pouring it into the teapot. . The amount of tea is about 10g (1 heaping tablespoon) for 2-3 people. Add about 60cc of hot water to this, wait for the tea leaves to change from dark green to light green (about 1 minute), and pour into the teacup. Please see below for detailed instructions.

1. Prepare a tea bowl, teapot (180cc), and hot water (a mug if you don't have one).

2. Add a heaping tablespoon of tea leaves (approximately 10g/2.3 servings)

3. Pour lukewarm water (approximately 60cc) into the bowl of the Yuzamashi.

4. Let the water cool down to about 50 degrees. Yuzamashi can be easily done by using two mugs and replacing the hot water. *If you change the water once, you can lower the temperature of the hot water by about 10 degrees.

5. Pour hot water at about 40-50 degrees into the teapot. *Keep the lid open. This is to prevent the tea leaves from becoming stuffy (preventing the discoloration of the leaves).

6. Leave it in the teapot for about 1 and a half minutes. *Keep the lid open.

7. Pour little by little into each bowl until the last drop is gone. Please enjoy the unique flavor and sweetness of gyokuro.
