"Fuji no Kombu" is cooked using a special casting kettle and a thick cypress lid, and is cooked over an open fire method that traps the flavor slowly over a hearth built with refractory bricks.
The kombu tsukudani is made from carefully selected natural kombu seaweed from Hokkaido, and has a springy texture and the umami of kombu spreads in your mouth.
Separately cooked shredded salted kelp and sesame are carefully mixed one by one by hand. The aroma of salted kelp and sesame goes well with rice.
Recommended as an accompaniment to rice, onigiri, or as a snack with alcohol.
