Granulated sugar and white sugar are blended to create a crisp sweetness and rich taste. We use “Kumi no Shio” from Kumejima, Okinawa Prefecture, which is known for its mellow saltiness that draws out the flavor of adzuki beans. You can enjoy it warm in the winter and chilled in the summer as "hiyashi zenzai".
