This is an assortment of Oita's famous sweets "Zabieru" and "Ruisa". Francis Xavier visited Bungo no Kuni in 1551. In honor of Xavier's achievements, Nanban Confectionery Zabieru was born. A butter-flavored European-style skin wrapped with carefully selected pure Japanese-style white bean paste or bean paste with rum and raisins with a rich aroma. A sweet that blends Japanese and Western styles with the flavor of the Nanban romance of Oita. "Ruisa" is a famous confection that reminds us of the Kirishitan girl who sleeps in Ume, Saiki City, Oita Prefecture. Violet-colored bean paste flavored with violet liqueur is wrapped in milk and butter-flavored castella dough, wrapped in aluminum foil and baked. The faint scent of violet that spreads in the mouth and the gentle taste are very popular with women.
